ReplyDeleteM- My wall, May has her own wall that she calls the wailing wall. She writes down all of the things that upset her and tucks them in between the stones of the wall. This makes her feel better and seems to be the only thing that helps her.
A-agitates, May gets very nervous and disturbed when she hears something that is sad.
Y-young, May was just a girl when her sister killed herself and apart of May was lost.
Lily:
L- Lost, Lily has run away from her home and is with Rosaleen at the Boatwright's house. She can be considered lost by her father or the people that do not know where she went.
I- Incessantly, Lily lies incessantly because she doesn't want anyone to find where she really is from and who she really is.
L- Lonely, Lily's mother died when she was a young child and Lily never experienced what it is like to have a real mother. She is Lonely without the comfort of her mother.
Y- Yourself, Lily cant be herself because she has ran away from home and no one can know who she is. Lily can't be herself when she doesn't have that many friends at home and can express herself around T. Ray like other kids can.

In Chapter 8, Lily writes a a letter to T. Ray and adds an acrostics that spells out Daddy. She doesn't plan on sending the letter, but she needs to get her feelings down on paper. If I were to make an acrostic poem for two characters, I would make them for Rosaleen and T. Ray.
